ProInspire Fellow Role Overview:
Beaconfire RED, a Washington DC-based digital agency, is currently looking for a SEM/PPC & SEO Manager to help us develop and implement organic search and paid media campaigns that generate revenue, leads, and engagement for our nonprofit clients. 
We are looking for an experienced PPC and SEO marketer who will:
  • Strategize, implement, and oversee paid media and organic search campaigns that increase conversions, revenue, and engagement metrics for our mission-driven clients.
  • Support and optimize paid search and SEO campaigns. This includes creative development, ad or web optimization, advertising budget oversight, and reporting. 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for SEO and SEM workstreams on large, omni-channel digital marketing campaigns. Collaborate closely with each clients’ Account Director.
  • Be a leader in search and SEO by:
    • Helping BF RED’s Account teams maintain high client satisfaction
    • Providing the sales team input on proposals
    • Coaching other BF RED team members in SEO and search best practices.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 
This position requires:
  • Proven success in increasing website traffic, revenue, and conversions through the implementation of paid and organic search campaigns.
  • Experience in providing strategy, budgeting, implementation, and optimization services on integrated digital paid media and organic search campaigns.
 
We are looking for someone with experience:
  • Conducting keyword research
  • Executing content marketing and link building campaigns
  • Writing ad copy and meta content to achieve click-through-rate optimization
  • Analyzing data to create website analyses and landing page optimization recommendations
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical SEO problems: 404 errors, 302 redirects, duplicate content issues, broken links, slow sitespeed, etc.
  • Working in SEM platforms including: Google AdWords, Google Ad Grants, Bing AdCenter, Facebook, Twitter. DSP experience (i.e. Doubleclick) a bonus.
  • Working in SEO tools including: Google and Bing Webmaster Tools, SpyFu, SEMrush, Moz Pro, and Screaming Frog.
 
The ideal candidate will have: 
  • 3-5+ years of hands-on SEO and SEM experience. 
  • Knowledge of ecommerce display advertising strategies and tactics
  • Strong communication skills, and high attention to detail
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills 
  • Google AdWords Certification
  • Experience with the Google Ad Grants program. Bonus points if you have experience with nonprofit marketing and fundraising strategies.
  • Ability to understand HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RegEx code.*

*This isn’t a developer position, but we do need a tech-savvy individual who brings an advanced understanding of how different coding and design approaches impact digital marketing campaigns.

  • This position is full time at our Washington DC Metro Area office. 
  • This position requires occasional travel throughout the US, primarily in the northeastern corridor.
