ProInspire Fellow Role Overview:
Beaconfire RED is currently looking for a Client Relationship Strategist to bring their client whisperer and problem-solving skills to BF RED's retainer clients with a goal to build and maintain relationships and cultivate customer loyalty. 
 
The Client Strategist provides strategy, guidance and problem solving skills to help build and market digital experiences for our committed clients. They will report directly to BF RED’s EVP of Client Relationships, Jeff Herron.
 
This position requires a mix of the following skills – Consulting, Customer Relationship Building and Project Management. Core responsibilities involve managing relationships with clients and internal team members, managing against revenue and growth objectives, and being accountable for client satisfaction. The superior candidate will demonstrate genuine curiosity about our non-profit clients' organizational needs, and has the ability to propose customized digital solutions for a variety of scenarios.
 
 
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 
We are looking for someone with:
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – with an ability to build rapport with customers
  • Previous consulting or agency experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a strategist, producer or client relationship manager, and be able to demonstrate a track record of growing client relationships through day-to-day leadership on accounts.
  • Knowledge of how nonprofits and associations can use digital tools, channels, content and messaging to have a stronger digital presence
  • Experience with a range of digital channels and tactics across UX, CMS/web publishing, marketing, and analytics
  • Tech savvy. You need to be able to understand a client's needs, and then communicate with internal and external stakeholders about technical concepts.
  • Strong project management skills, including:
    • Managing teams of 3-10 people on a variety of technical and strategy projects
    • Tracking tasks, time and budgets
    • Scheduling, organizing and effective task delegation to keep work moving across multiple clients
    • Clearly defining next steps and what needs to be done to move things forward
 
The ideal candidate will have: 
  • 5+ years as a consultant or relationship lead on digital projects
  • Agency or consulting experience
  • Strong communication skills, and high attention to detail
  • Bonus points for nonprofit or association experience
 
Other good things to know about this opportunity:
  • This position is full time at our Washington DC Metro Area office. 
  • This position requires occasional travel throughout the US, primarily in the northeastern corridor.
  • Candidates must be legally able to work in the United States and maintain proper work authorization throughout employment with Beaconfire RED.
  • Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job presented in a typical office environment.
